One problem we had today was getting the swimmers in the water (programing the motor to push the people in the water. We solved this by asking another group to help us. Are group worked really well because we had no fights and we got right to work.

Book Club

Hey everybody-

In my Language Arts class we are doing book clubs! In my group we are reading Rules By: Cynthia Lord. This book is about a girl named Catherine who is trying to help her brother David to survive school. This book is really good so far and I hope that you can have a chance to read it!

R&E8 - Opinion

If I gave this book a 1 through 10, 1 being the worst and 10 being the best, I would give this a 8.5. I loved how the author but pages from Natalie's story in the book so when they were commenting or changing stuff you knew what they were talking about. Also I liked this book because it was very descriptive and it made me want to finish the book. I hope you read this book and enjoy it as much as I did!

For my R&E, I read the book The School Story By: Andrew Clements. This book is about Natalie when she is trying to publish a book that she wrote. Natalie's best friend, Zoe, is sure that the novel that Natalie has written is good enough to be published. Natalie's mother is an editor for a big children's publisher, but Natalie doesn't want to ask for any favors. But how can a 12 year old girl publish a book?
