R&E7- Summery

For my R&E I read the series Diary of a Wimpy Kid By: Jeff Kinney.  This series is about a boy named Greg Heffley and his family.  Greg's mom told him that he had to write a diary about his summer.  Greg did not like the whole idea about having to write a diary, so he thought of it as being a journal.  He could not be caught dead carrying around a diary in middle school.  His mom still thought of the journal being a diary so he said he would not be writing "Dear Diary" this or "Dear Diary" that.  Also he thinks that his journal will be good when he is rich and famous and all these reporters ask him questions about his childhood, he could just hand them the book and say "read it."
